About the Artist
Englewood Artist Denise Dinsmore
Denise Dinsmore grew up in Miami where her Father and Brother worked
worked
as stagehands for The Jackie Gleason Show, Miami Vice and any commercials,
movies
or theater production that came into Miami Beach and Denise worked
on wardrobe and
learned set Design which exposed her to the wonderful world of Painting
ART.
This was Seasonal for 6 months out of the year.
Denise went to New Hampshire the other six months, where her family
ran an ART’s
and crafts Day Camp called Camp Colt. There she taught water sports
and painting to
150 young children who still rave about the good times they had with
ART.
Today, Denise lives in Englewood Florida and
her
Handpainteded Silk Canvas Paintings
reflects the beauty of the Island lifestyle.
Her style is fresh, tropical and even lured the
producer of the Oprah Show
to get in touch with her !!
