About the artist

Barbara Degen grew up on Long Island and later relocated to Vermont, where she raised her large extended family. 
She currently resides year-round in Punta Gorda, FL. 

Always an art lover, she took her first art class after retiring, 
and has been painting ever since.  An award-winning artist, her love of color is immediately apparent to anyone who views her work.
